My current research interests lie broadly in using geometry and number theory to address problems in physics and mathematics. Recently, I have focused on studying arithmetic geometry of Calabi–Yau manifolds and their connection to black holes, flux vacua, and conformal field theories. A significant part of my research is developing further computational methods, such as Dwork’s p-adic deformation method to be able to practically evaluate arithmetic quantities of interest to physics, such as Hasse–Weil zeta functions.
