Christoph Gabriel is a full professor of Romance linguistics at JGU Mainz. His research focuses on segmental and prosodic aspects of multilingual speech. He received his PhD from TU Berlin and his post-doctoral degree from the University of Osnabruck, Germany, and has directed several third-party-funded research projects on contact phonology and on phonetic learning in the context of migration-induced multilingualism.
