Marina Lehmann is a research associate at the department of Book Studies at JGU Mainz. Her main areas of research are empirical and computational approaches to reading. Her PhD focuses on the cultural participation of non-readers in Germany. Other research interests include emotions in children’s and youth literature, sentiment analysis, artificial intelligence and prompting. She holds a master’s degree in Book Studies and one in Digital Humanities from the University of Mainz and a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature and English/American Studies from the University of Tübingen.
