After a degree in French Studies, Comparative Literature and Intercultural Communication, I completed my Doctorate in General and Comparative Literature at Saarland University and Provence University (co-tutelle de thèse) in 2010 with a dissertation on ethnic and postcolonial detective fiction. After working as a research assistant at the Institute for Romance Studies and at the France Centre at Saarland University, I was coordinator of the France Centre from 2014 to 2016, then coordinator of the Interregional Labour Market Observatory of the Greater Region in Saarbrücken.
Since 2020, I have been Managing Director of the Gutenberg Graduate School of the Humanities and Social Sciences. I am particularly interested in advising prospective and current doctoral candidates as well as supporting interdisciplinary academic qualification processes.
