Jacqueline Beisiegel is a music and maths teacher at Gymnasium Mainz Mombach. She teaches music education and didactics at the University of Music. As part of her teaching, she endeavours to incorporate classroom teaching practice in order to facilitate the application and consolidation of what has been learned. She also offers courses on the singing class concept.

Her research focusses on cultural participation, with a particular focus on participation (equity) in musical activities at school. She works with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

In her leisure time, she sings in various chamber choirs and vocal ensembles in the Rhine-Main region and also works as a choir director.
